Coldplay is all set to return to India over eight years after their maiden performance in the country at the
Global Citizen Festival held in Mumbai in November 2016.
The British band is scheduled to play five shows in two cities in 2025.
Coldplay Concert In India
On January 18, 2025, Band will perform at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai to begin their 2025 India tour. DY Patil Stadium can accommodate 45,300 people. According to BookMyShow, the concert's official promoter, it will start at 6 p.m. Coldplay will return to the same location for two more shows on January 19 and 21, respectively.Popular demand led Coldplay to add a third concert in Mumbai, which sold out minutes after tickets went on sale on BookMyShow in October, just minutes after the first two shows sold out.
2 Concerts In Ahmedabad
Coldplay and BookMyShow revealed earlier this month that they would be adding another show in Ahmedabad on January 25, 2025, to the band's Music of the Spheres tour in India. With a capacity of 1.3 lakh, the Ahmedabad performance will be the largest band's concert to date. It will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Minutes after the tickets went on sale on BookMyShow on Saturday, the Ahmedabad show was also sold out.

Band's current worldwide concert series in support of their ninth studio album of the same name is called the 'Music of the Spheres' World Tour, and it started in 2022. Coldplay is made up of Will Champion on drums, Guy Berryman on bass, Jonny Buckland on guitar, and Chris Martin on lead vocals.
